Our rafting tours are relaxed trips with no haste. Let us know what departure hour fits best into your plans and we will adapt our standard RAFTING program to your wishes.
Arrival to the meeting point – KROG, ferry on the MURA River (Brodarska ulica 68), where we greet and welcome you. You meet your adventure guide, who will make sure you make fond memories of the day. You receive all of the necessary equipment (LIFE JACKET and PADDLE). Clothes and all other unneeded things for rafting should be left in the vehicles. Before the rafting itself the guide thoroughly gives instructions and rules for a safe rafting and answers all of your potential questions.
After that we go rafting. We make a few stops, where we get to know the river even more genuinely and in an amusing way.
At the end of the trip we have vehicles with spare clothes awaiting us. Thereafter you have a delicious lunch and enjoy in the beautiful nature, where you can also see a ferry that offers you a ride to the other side of the Mura River and back in a traditional way.
The price includes: a welcome drink, help with organisation and carrying out the rafting itself, transport of necessary equipment and guide to the start point and transport from the finish point, sailing on a certified raft under the supervision of a licenced rafting guide, the rental of required safety equipment (CE approved life vests) and raft paddles, first aid assistance, animation during rafting, rental of dry bags and other necessary tasks.
The price does not include: travel expenses, food, and expenses caused by special demands.
Season: good weather and water conditions
EVERY PARTICIPANT GOES RAFTING AT ONE’S OWN RISK AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OR HER OWN BELONGINGS (MOBILE PHONE, CAMERA, WALLET,…).
For safety reasons we hold the right to cancelation of rafting due to potential high water levels or stress of weather.
Rafting is carried out by guides with the licence of the RAFTING ASSOCIATION OF SLOVENIA.
FAQ RAFTING (pdf)
The most important thing you can do is to let us know about it. Allergies to bees, asthma, or an old injury can trigger a rescue situation and can ruin an otherwise enjoyable trip. Don’t worry that we are going to be surprised; we have seen and heard it all. There is no room for embarrassment when your safety is on the line. It is our responsibility to craft a rafting trip that is suitable for you. But it’s impossible for us to do that if we aren’t well-informed of any medical conditions.
First we will need you to sign a declaration of awareness. Please note that we can’t take on rafting trip people who are:
• under the influence of alcohol and drugs
• physically or mentally disabledblind
• blind (you have to be able to see at least something)
You might be able to join us, but please consult with the staff if you:
• are non swimmer
• weight over 110kg
• suffered any injuries in the past 5 years (bone fractures, dislocated joints,…)
• have a heart condition
• have spine condition, back problem, back pain
• have asthma, epilepsy or diabetes
• are allergic to bees or wasps
• have any other medical condition not mentioned above
Our guides take first aid kit and rescue gear on the MURA river with them for the case of emergency. But, if you need special medicine you can of course take it with you. Your guide will have it in his waterproof box. Just please consult with our office staff about any medical condition that might affect your rafting trip.
